Well, we were waiting for our new earmolds and when they came in, they fit PERFECTLY!! It's so nice, no more squeaking and they "lock-in" well now because the mold fits into the helix of her ears!! She's getting used to them and she's happier everyday!
We also got a kidney ultrasound to make sure that her kidneys weren't scarred from her UTI in March. And, that was normal...no scarring!!
We had a weight check, and were having issues with her NG tube clogging up. Poor thing, we think she probably wasn't getting all her food that she should have been for 2 days! So, no wonder at the weight check, she didn't gain anything! :(
Then, it was Easter! We had Easter baskets and got dressed up pretty and went to some Egg hunts!!
Then, we went to GI 2 days ago and she gained 7 oz!!! That's the biggest gain since we started the continuous feeds!! The last gain was 5 oz! Go Harmony!! We also asked about a little bump on her chest that felt like her rib cage was higher than it should have been. So, they sent us for a Chest X-ray.
Then, we followed-up with Genetics yesterday and got the results of the Chest X-ray, they said she just has a "pigeon chest" and there is nothing abnormal about that, except for cosmetically. She won't have any further issues because of it, really. They did note that the outline of her heart seemed enlarged, though, so Genetics asked if we were seeing Cardiology anytime soon. I told them that we were referred but hadn't scheduled yet. They made some calls and we saw Cardiology same-day! We got an echo and ekg and saw Dr. Texter. She told me that everything looks great! We'll see her again in 6 months! Good news!!
We see Hematology on Tuesday and then we'll be cleared for her G-tube placement!! Very exciting!! I can't wait to see my little Harmony without all that tape on her face....she's so beautiful!!
Of course, she's beautiful with or without it...but I just love seeing her little chubby cheeks without all that tape on it!
Well, that does it for the updates...my little Harmony is almost 9 lbs!! We are so thrilled for her big gain!!! Thanks everyone for the prayers and we will continue to pray that she continues to do well!!
